WESTMONT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

DESTINATION IMAGINATION FUNDRAISER

Springfield Platteview Community Schools Destination Imagination teams have had a great year competing in Destination Imagination.  One of the 6th grade teams from Westmont earned 1st place at the Regional tournament and recently earned 1st place at the State tournament which now qualifies them to compete in the Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee.   The team is doing various fundraisers to help offset the cost of participating in this event.  They have set up a GoFundMe account for donations at: https://www.gofundme.com/westmontDI

Before you hit your first Murray garage sale on Saturday, May 21st, stop for a tummy-pleasing breakfast at the Conestoga elementary school, 104 E. High St., between 7 and 11 a.m.

The Freedom Festival crew will be serving up some hot pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, applesauce, orange juice and coffee to get you ready for your busy day.

Your free-will, tax-deductible donation will help with expenses for the annual 4th of July celebration in Murray.

(Murray garage sales start on Friday, May 20th, but the pancake feed is only on Saturday, the 21st.)
