What’s New in Springfield, NE

Are you bracing for the frigid weather to come? Temperatures in the teens and below will be keeping most of us inside during this blast from the Arctic. For those who have to brave the cold, be sure to bundle up. Keep those hands, feet and ears covered up to prevent frostbite.
Tips for frostbite prevention:
- With extreme cold temperature, stay inside
- Dress for the weather
- Wear layers of clothing, but remember not to bundle up too tightly, maintain good circulation.
- Pay attention to your body. If tingling or numbness begins to occur, come in out of the cold to warm up.
- Keep dry. Wet clothes should be changed immediately.
January 19 is National Popcorn Day. What a great day to gather the family, pop some popcorn, settle in, and watch a movie. Popcorn balls sound good, too!
