What’s New in Springfield, NE
February 20, 2008
It’s been a loooong winter here in the Midwest. What was up with that flock of robins I saw last January on the MoPac Trail? I hope they are basking somewhere warm. This has been a great year for snowmobiling, sledding, ice skating and all other winter activities. Oh well, soon spring will arrive and the long awaited thaw out begins, especially for my very icy back yard.
Speaking of Spring….now’s the time to start planning those lawn and garden projects. So dig out those flower and seed catalogs you’ve stashed somewhere and start ordering or, better yet, visit nearby lawn and garden centers. Bring on the feeling that the “Big Thaw” is soon to arrive.
