The Good News Club is a Bible–Centered Club that meets every Monday after school in the Springfield Elementary Gym from 3:30 -5:00. The club is open to all children regardless of religious affiliation. All helpers are carefully screened and trained and parents are welcome to visit any time. There is no cost to attend. Parental permission slip must be filled out and brought to the first meeting a child attends.

Construction is still going on at the new Fabulous Dew Drop Inn restaurant. I’ve heard it may still be a week or two before the grand opening. From all the buzz, folks can’t wait! We still have copies of the menu at the library for anyone who is interested in taking a peek at what will be offered. I must say, though, the outside front is looking quite spiffy!
