They have put together a working website https://spcsne.org/bond-2026/ with information about the bond, and I would love for you to check it out in terms of design and comprehension. ReMain

I tried a new recipe using ReMain’s honey — just drizzle honey on carrots and bake. Simple, real food that’s good for the body and the soul.

There’s so much to see at ReMain, but I’ll admit I make a beeline for the honey. It makes the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth — local, simple, and delicious. A small jar of something sweet is always a thoughtful way to spread a little joy.

ReMain also offers a great mix of antiques, arts, and crafts, making every visit a little adventure.

It's Springfield History

Springfield Community Development Program 1964 Survey
In 1964, the Omaha Public Power District initiated a community survey in Springfield as the first step in a Community Development program. This survey explored various aspects of the Springfield community.
The business services available at that time included:
Three automobile dealers and repair shops
One barber
One beauty salon
Three contractors
Two feed and seed stores
 One grocery and meat market
 One hardware store
 One hatchery
 One insurance agency
 One lumber yard
 Three restaurants
 Three service stations
 Two variety stores
 Two taverns
Two commercial feed yards
 One transfer company
 One bank
Professional services in Springfield consisted of:
 One dentist
 One doctor
 One engineer
Springfield businesses served a five-mile radius and developed annual sales of two million dollars in retail trade.
According to the 1960 census, the population was recorded at 510 residents. It was observed that in the early years of Springfield's existence, the population grew steadily but slowly. Since 1950, the number of residents had doubled.

Insurance Tip–

A recent survey showed that 92% of Americans who switched auto insurance providers saved money.1 Yet most drivers continue to overpay by hundreds each year simply by staying with the same carrier. Are you among the millions of drivers paying too much for car insurance? Call and get a non hassle quote. May save you some cash. Its an opportunity to compare rates.

Fit Tip of the Week - How’s your diet going?

Consistency beats perfection—every time. You don’t need a flawless plan or a strict menu to stay on track. Move your body, fuel it wisely, and keep showing up. Yes, even if dinner is pancakes tonight  Add some protein, keep portions reasonable, and enjoy it without guilt. Staying consistent anytime is what actually moves the needle.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963 and called America back to its own promises. He spoke of freedom delayed, justice denied, and the moral urgency of now. His dream wasn’t fantasy—it was a demand that the nation live out its creed: that all people are created equal. He believed change would come not through hatred, but through disciplined love, faith, sacrifice, and action. The speech ends not in anger, but in hope—freedom ringing from every hill, unity forged through perseverance, and dignity restored through courage.
