Manley, NE - The Lofte Community Theatre in Manley announces that its holiday production of Robert Fulgham's "Uh-Oh, Here Comes Christmas" will open on Friday, December 4. Fulgham is perhaps best known for writing the humorous book, "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."
Directed by Kevin Colbert, "Uh-Oh, Here Comes Christmas" weaves together a string of Christmas stories and original holiday songs. It is a charming look at the struggle to find the spirit of Christmas amid the avalanche of commercialism and chaos that descends upon us each December. Actors will be accompanied on stage by Lynnette Zimmer playing a baby grand piano onstage through much of the show.
The cast consists of Chuck Danskin of Lincoln, Virginia Kincaid of Elkhorn, Scott Pope of Eagle, Anna Strobel of Omaha and Kevin Colbert of Weeping Water. Performance dates are Dec 4-6, 11-13 and 17-20. Showtimes are 7:30pm Thursday-Saturday. Tickets are $16, and reservations can be made by calling the Lofte box office at (402) 234-2553 or purchased online at www.Lofte.com.
