The Lofte Community Theatre in Manley will be hosting a Salute to Veterans concert on Sunday, November 13 at 2pm. This event is free and open to the public.
The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, The Noteables, is the squadron's dynamic "little big band." This sleek, vibrant jazz ensemble presents exciting, uplifting music inspiring audiences to increased patriotism. The group also shares stirring accounts of the bravery and self-sacrifice of our expeditionary Airmen serving around the globe. The Noteables have appeared in concert and on national television with Bob Hope, jazz trumpeter Bobby Shew, composer/arranger Frank Mantooth, former Tonight Show band leader Doc Severinsen, pop singer Lee Greenwood and trombonist Wycliffe Gordon.
The Noteables honorably represent more than 325,000 Air Force professionals around the world who diligently watch over the skies protecting and defending all those who cherish freedom. We hope you afford us the opportunity to share the messages of excellence, sacrifice, courage and commitment of our brave men and women...the deployed Airmen of the United States Air Force.
The Lofte is located just east of the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 50 in cass County. The Weeping Water Color Guard from American Legion Post #237 will present our nation's colors. The concert will last approximately one hour. Everyone is invited to bring their favorite Veteran, friends and family to this special patriotic event.
