The Sarpy/Cass Health Department offers free transportation assistance to women with a mammogram appointment. The service includes home pick up, hospital/clinic drop off, and return home drop off. Eligibility includes women aged 40-75 years living in Sarpy or Cass counties. Please call the Health Department at 402-537-6968 for more information.

2018 No Limits Summer Activism Summit
Big Tobacco has a long history of deceiving the public, hiding the truth, and targeting youth with its marketing. It's time to do something about that. Unite with other youth at the No Limits Activism Summit and take what you learn back to your community!
Applicants must be 12-17 years old, entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2018.
Where: The Leadership Center, Aurora NE
When: May 29-31

In addition to over 40 small businesses selling vintage, antique and handcrafted goods we'll have food trucks, kids' play areas, and local organizations raising funds by selling food (First Lutheran Church and the Avoca Library Committee) and plants/flowers (Keep Cass County Beautiful). And because it's Cinco de Mayo, there will be Mexican food and drink and fun photo areas to celebrate!
Join St. John the Baptist Catholic School and Boy Scout Troop #399 for a delicious Cinco de Mayo Dinner while enjoying the movie “The Three Amigos” on the big screen.
