Springfield Cemetery is asking for donations to pave the cemetery streets. Every other year it costs $9000 to resurface the asphalt. To raise $100,000 to install pavement a Go Fund Me page is set up. Please help: https://www.gofundme.com/springfield-cemetary-association

HELPFUL TIP:
Learner’s Permit Required
One of the most common questions we seem to receive is, “Do all students need a learner’s permit to take the driver safety school course?” If the student is going to be driving on the public roadways as part of the course, the easy answer is, ‘yes’. Almost all students can get a School Learning Permit.

“IT HAPPENED IN SPRINGFIELD”
Sarpy County Bank, organized in 1882, was the first bank in Springfield. It was constructed of brick made by a brick making industry located south of town. The men who built the bank were paid $3 per day. Later the building was used as a newspaper office. The site is on the northeast corner of 2nd and Main Street, directly across from Springfield Drug. The area is now called the Urban Park.
