1. Discuss 2011-2012 Budget
A budget work session of the Mayor and Council of the City of Springfield, Nebraska was held at 7:00 o’clock p.m. at City Hall on August 24, 2011. Present were Mayor Mike Dill; Council Members: John Bartels, Randy Fleming, Dan Craney, Chad Nolte. Absent: None. Chad Nolte arrived at 7:13 p.m. Notice of this meeting was given in advance by posting in three public places, one of the designated methods of giving notice. Notice of this meeting was given in advance to the Mayor and all Council Members and a copy of their receipt of notice is attached to these Minutes. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the notice to the Mayor and Council of this meeting. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public. The Mayor publicly stated to all in attendance that a current copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act was available for review and indicated the location of such copy posted in the room where the meeting was being held.
Agenda Item 1. The Council discussed the proposed 2011-2012 budget. No action was taken. The next budget work session has been scheduled for Monday, August 29, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
Motion by Bartels, seconded by Nolte, to adjourn. AYES: Bartels, Fleming, Craney, Nolte. NAYS: None. Meeting was adjourned at 9:14 p.m.
