What’s New in Springfield, NE
January 10, 2007
Where’s winter? With only one snowstorm and temperatures in the 40’s our weather has been quite enjoyable this season, so far. Look out, though, it sounds like the cold weather will be hitting our area soon. Just hope it doesn’t stick around too long

WINTER ACTIVITES
Need some suggestions to make your winter a little less dreary. Try these ideas:
- Gather the family, have an old fashioned evening and read aloud.
- Host a game night with family and friends.
- Visit a museum you’ve never been to.
- Host a potluck dinner.
- Visit a nearby small town.
- Bundle up and go for a walk. Take the kids and the dog.
- Check out the activities at the State Parks, for example, ice-skating or sledding.
- Go for a drive. Drive down that one road you’ve never been on but wondered where it would take you.
- Learn a new craft.
