What’s New in Springfield, NE
February 21, 2007

There has been a welcome break in the weather lately. One day last week Robins were sighted in the Springfield area. They may have been migrating to a more northern destination, but still this suggests a hint of spring to come. I saw lots of folks out and about on Sunday when the temps soared into the 40’s. Hang in there, only a few more weeks of winter are left.

With all the slushy wet streets lately, the Springfield Car Wash is now one of my favorite places to hang out. Frequent stops there to wash away the grime is a must to keep our vehicles free of dirt and salt. Clean windows and windshield aid in better vision while driving. Be sure to stop by B&B Pit Stop or Neitzel’s Corner for some windshield washer fluid, also. For nighttime driving, wash the dirt off those headlights.
