Welcome, Springfield Community!

Happy May 1st!

And speaking of new beginnings, let's dive into what's happening in Springfield! From exciting events to community initiatives, there's a lot to talk about.

Shoutout to the 4-H Club Market Day!

It was a hit, offering a delightful opportunity to explore, shop, and support our talented young members. I even snagged a handmade bird feeder from one of the 4-H kids - talk about creativity and craftsmanship!

Exciting News! Springfield May Get a Farmers Market!

There was a first survey, and now here is the second one. The farmers market committee has met and discussed responses, and we're now ready for the next step.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us create a farmers market that truly reflects the needs and desires of our community. Your voice matters!

It Happened in Springfield

Springfield Masonic Lodge
Located at the southwest intersection of 4th and Main Street. The lodge is situated at the former location of the old Baptist Church, and the building was constructed in 1924. The cornerstone for the temple was placed on        November 10, 1924.
Masonic Lodge 112 AF and AM has been in existence since March 30, 1883, when its charter was approved. The Eastern Star, an associated organization, received its charter on June 4, 1896. Before the construction of the temple, both organizations held their meetings on the second level of the Springfield Opera House, located at 3rd and Main Street.
