Welcome Back, Springfield!
Let's kick off this newsletter with some fun events happening in Springfield this week.
Exciting Events This Week
First, let me remind you about the countdown to the Sarpy County Fair! This beloved event includes the Grand Parade, which is a highlight for many in our community. I will be adding event to the calendar as they are submitted to me. Keep a look out!
Let's have a fantastic week! Be sure to visit our downtown stores to show some support in the Shop and Hop event. Shop & Hop in Main Street will have MUCHO #giveaways and #promos! See you on Main Street on Friday, July 26 from 4-7pm. Don't forget to start at the Springfield Community Building for your bingo card. Pictured are just a few opportunities to WIN. There are more to come. Your local businesses will appreciate your patronage.
Have a great time, Springfield, and enjoy all the wonderful activities our community has to offer!

It happened it Springfield
A classroom desk, originally used by the kindergarten class at Springfield School on South 3rd
Street, was generously donated to the Springfield Memorial Library by Louie and Wendy Post. A
photo from 1954-55 captures the kindergarten class sitting at these historic desks. Visit the
library to see the desk in person.
