WHAT’S NEW IN SPRINGFIELD, NE

October 1, 2008

For much more excitement than a night out on the town, Parasailing and Hang Gliding is what folks in rural and small towns do for fun on a Saturday night. Take to the skies over Springfield on a beautiful fall evening like the owners of these aircrafts seen last weekend.

Of course, my excitement was watching the parasailers and hang gliders from the ground. I also just had to snap this picture at sunset of the beautiful amber-colored soybeans located in the field across the street from our house.  And it was a good thing, since the beans are no longer in the field. It’s harvest time!
