IT HAPPENED IN SPRINGFIELD HISTORY

History Band 1982

The Platteview High School Strutters performed with the band at pre-game and half-time during home varsity football games, Sarpy County Fair, Nebraska County Fair, and the King Korn Karnival parade in Plattsmouth. Also in 1982 for the first time, they performed with the pep band at home varsity boys’ basketball games. Sadly, because of a new type of judging, 1981-82 school year was the last year for the Strutters. They were replaced with the new flag corps.
