The 1991 varsity boys basketball team at Platteview High School achieved a successful season by focusing on goal-setting, teamwork, and leadership. At the time, the regular season scoreboard of 10-8, was among the best in recent years. Platteview had two All Conference players: Gary Fibich and Darin Johnson. The Omaha World Herald chose Darin Johnson to be on the All Area Small School Team. In the opening round of the District Tournament, the team lost to Waverly by three points to finish the season.

Fit Tip of the Week:
Library Fun & Fitness Ideas: Who’s sticking to their New Year’s resolutions? They say it takes about seven days to form a habit, so if you’ve made it this far, you’re well on your way! Keep going—whether it’s a fitness goal, a new hobby, or just reading more books. Speaking of books, why not pair your fitness goals with a great audiobook from the library? It’s multitasking at its finest!

The Value of Your Home Coverage
I just finished my continuing education to keep my insurance license, and I wanted to share an important thought with you. Did you know most homes are undervalued when it comes to insurance coverage? It’s crucial to ensure your home’s coverage matches its current value to protect your investment.
Farmers has an automatic calculator that determines your home’s value using census data and current pricing trends in the Omaha metro area. If you’re curious or want peace of mind, give me a call for a quote. I’d be happy to help!
Let’s make sure you and your home are properly covered.
