It Happen in Springfield
The Springfield Volunteer Fire Department held their annual banquet at the Springfield Community Building on February 14, 1968. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Guild members served the meal. Afterwards, awards were given to deserving members. Fire Chief Irv Nolte presented a 25-year Fireman’s Award to ex-chief Floyd McCarty. Additionally, Mayor Henry Gottsch, representing the Village Board, presented Mr. McCarty with a wristwatch in recognition of his service. Chief Nolte presented badges to members who had served 25 years or more. The recipients included Burdette Hike, Donald Joern, Jack Latham, Herman McBride, Floyd McCarty, and Howard Simon. Mrs. Herman McBride
received an award for her 10-year service as a member of the Springfield Volunteer Rescue Squad
Department.

Fit Tip of the Week -Spring Cleaning for Your Health!
Spring cleaning isn’t just for your home—it’s a great time to refresh your fitness routine too! Clear out the clutter in your kitchen by tossing out processed snacks and stocking up on fresh, whole foods. Swap out stale workout habits for something new, like outdoor walks, biking, or even yard work
(yes, it counts as exercise!).
A fresh season is the perfect time for a fresh start. Move more, eat better, and enjoy the energy boost that comes with it!
--------------
Spring is here, which means storm season is right around the corner! Now is a great time to review your home insurance policy, especially your roof coverage. Many policies cover roofs on an Actual Cash Value (ACV) basis, meaning depreciation is factored in, and you may receive less than the full replacement cost.
Want to know if your policy includes Replacement Cost Value (RCV) for your roof? Give me a call, and I’ll walk you through your coverage options to make sure you're fully protected before the next big storm!

COME ON OVER!
This is the way country music started out, with acoustic instruments, before electricity. People sat out on the lawn, on the porch, or in a friend’s house and played their instruments together.
Enjoy the originality of music which is still present in many circles of friends.
