WHAT’S NEW IN SPRINGFIELD, NE
August 6, 2008
Springfield seems quiet after all the hoopla last week. The Sarpy County Fair brought loads of excitement to town, July 30 – August 3, along with plenty of hot weather. I even skipped the cotton candy since it was too unbearably hot and muggy to eat something that sweet. I hope you wandered on down to the fair to enjoy the exciting events, fascinating exhibits, fun entertainment, and yummy food along with plenty of cool drinks. A great big thanks goes out to all who participated in making this year’s Sarpy County Fair a fun family event. And congratulations to all the winning entries!
